Target Audience and Goal Statement
This educational activity is intended for an international audience of non-US allergists and clinical immunologists, pediatricians, and primary care physicians.
The goal of this activity is to improve physicians’ education regarding current treatment guidelines for asthma, the role of anticholinergic therapy, and best practice in the treatment of pediatric and adult patients to optimize clinical outcomes.
Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

Similarities and differences in asthma diagnosed in children and adults
Factors that may lead to poor asthma control in pediatric and adult patients
Most recent treatment guidelines and recommendations regarding additional therapy for severe or uncontrolled asthma in both pediatric and adult patients
Clinical efficacy and safety data supporting the use of long-acting muscarinic receptor antagonists in adult and pediatric patients with asthma
Demonstrate greater confidence in their ability to
Make informed clinical decisions regarding the use of targeted therapy for moderate to severe asthma in adult and pediatric patients
